VOTE! played to packed houses in the 400 seat Minetta Lane Theatre Off-Broadway in August 2009 as part of the New York International Fringe Festival starring MTV and Legally Blonde's Bailey Hanks, A Chorus Line's Deidre Goodwin and Spring Awakening's Morgan Karr.

From the beginning, we wanted to utilize the internet to reach a young audience that was right for our show. We made a music video and put out as much material from the show as we possibly could for critique and to build a fan base. In the process, we ended up with several offers from young aspiring producers who wanted to premiere the show at their college, community theatre or Fringe Festival. We had offers from as far as Australia and London, but ultimately, we decided to stay a little closer to home when saw an offer from a young producer in Indiana, who really seemed to get what we were all about.
As a fan of the actor, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Eric Anderson discovered our show in an episode of “Andrew’s Blog” on youtube.
From there, Anderson contacted us directly about premiering the work regionally with students and creative team from the IU Theatre Dept. Steven and I saw it as a great opportunity to move the show along with our director from New York. It was a moving experience to work with the students from IU and see all the fantastic things they brought to the material!
